Calling all Basketball Players! Our 4th Annual Cheboygan Triple Threat 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament in going to be held April 26th for athletes in 2nd-12th Grade. Teams are made up of 4 players and the cost is $100. Registration is due on April 17th. Scan the QR code on the poster to register or to get more information.

Yesterday our 3rd-5th grade students had a chance to cheer on their classmates in their first game of the Adray North U10 playoffs. Our U10 Squirts Black came away with a big win against Gladwin winning 9-2! Congratulations and Go Chiefs! 🏒

Reminder for students who have not yet turned in their permission slips for the ice rink field trip tomorrow:
Please turn in your permissions slips tomorrow morning. Due to the recent school cancellation, if you do not have the original permission slip, parents/guardians may provide permission in one of the following ways for this particular field trip:
- A handwritten letter to your child's teacher
- A Dojo message to your child's teacher
- An email sent to your child’s teacher

Mrs. Jacobs’ 5th grade class recently enjoyed a special final field trip to East Elementary as part of their Art Pals program. Throughout their time in art, the fifth graders have been partnering with first grade students, creating meaningful art projects for their assigned Art Pals.
During the visit, the students finally had the chance to meet their Art Pals in person and work together to make friendship bracelets. This experience provided a wonderful opportunity for the fifth graders to step into mentor roles while the first graders participated as mentees.
It was a great way to strengthen the connection between East Elementary and CIS, and it was heartwarming to watch the students meet, create, and share in this special experience.
