Prom 2026
Students at Cheboygan High School recently stepped away from welding to experience the ancient art of the forge during an immersive presentation by guest speaker Ben Mosley. With over 25 years of experience—specializing in the intricate skill of horseshoeing—Mosley brought a wealth of traditional knowledge and craftsmanship to the classroom. Under his expert guidance, the welding students transitioned from modern fusion techniques to the rhythmic hammer-and-anvil work of blacksmithing. The hands-on session allowed each student to heat and shape raw metal, providing them the unique opportunity to complete their own forged projects while gaining a deep appreciation for the history and physical skill of the trade.

National Honor Society Blood Drive:

NHS will host a blood drive at the high school on Friday, March 6th. Community members are welcome. If you are 17 or older, you can donate blood to save lives. If you are 16, you can donate with your parent/guardian's consent. (Forms are in the library.)
