Anatomy students did cheek cell swabs today and looked at the stained cells under microscopes! # GoChiefs!!

Powderpuff is rescheduled for Wednesday, October 8th at 7PM! We will continue where we left off with 2 minutes on the clock and the score at 8-6. The football team will do their halftime performance, then we will continue with the second half. There will be NO charge for entry. #GoChiefs!!

CHS students! On Friday, September 26, 2025, during both lunches, 7th and 8th-grade student leaders will be selling orange and black bead necklaces for $2 each. They will be selling near the guidance office from 7:30 to 7:55 am and in the cafeteria during lunch.

Powderpuff is still scheduled for 7:00 p.m. tonight. We’ll monitor the weather and make a final decision at game time if thunder or lightning is present. We look forward to a fun night! #gochiefs

On Tuesday August 19th, Girls Varsity Cross Country were Girls Champions and the Boys Varsity Cross Country were Runner-up at the Larissa Vartti Munising Invitational! The teams compete tomorrow again in East Jordan! #GoChiefs

Correction on our 7th and 8th orientation date in our last post, Orientation for 7th and 8th Grade is THURSDAY, August 14th. Parent meeting will be at 9:30am in the HS auditorium.

Due to the overwhelming amount of concern regarding 7th grade orientation, Mr. Mix and Mr. Wilson are happy to hold a parent meeting in the auditorium while the 7th graders tour the building as scheduled with student leaders. This meeting will begin at approximately 9:30 am. Fostering a community of students first, our Chief ambassadors have worked hard to prepare for orientation so incoming students can build independence, connect with peers, and hear directly from those who’ve recently walked in their shoes. We are so excited to welcome the 7th and 8th graders on Thursday!

Reminder: 7th and 8th grade orientation is next Thursday, August 14th! 7th: 9-11:30am 8th: 12-2:30pm. Orientation tour is for students only; however, there will be an informational handout available for parents as well as a waiting area if parents wish.

**Reminder to High School Students and Guardians:**

Schedule pick-up for students in grades 9 through 12 will take place on Wednesday, August 13th, at the high school.

For 7th and 8th graders, orientation and schedule pick-up is Thursday, August 14th:
- 7th grade: 9:00 AM - 11:30 AM
- 8th grade: 12:00 PM - 2:30 PM
